Rains, Windstorms Forecasted for Sukkur

Sukkur: Sukkur experienced hot, humid, and partly cloudy weather on Monday. The local MET office has forecast similar conditions for the next 24 hours.

Weather officials have issued a warning about potential torrential rains that could lead to flooding or inundation in low-lying areas of the Sukkur division from the night of August 26th through August 29th.

There is also a risk of gusty winds, windstorms, and lightning, which could damage weak structures such as mud houses, electric poles, billboards, vehicles, and solar panels.

Officials attribute these conditions to a low-pressure system, which is expected to bring strong monsoon currents to various parts of the Sukkur division starting from Monday night.
