Sukkur: The sky remained overcast throughout the day as several areas received light rain on Thursday night, according to a local meteorological official.

Similar weather conditions are forecast for Friday as well. The official added that scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected in the Sukkur division on Saturday.

He also reported that the maximum temperature recorded was 35 degrees Celsius.

For Sunday, the weather is expected to remain partly to mostly cloudy, with a likelihood of rain and thunderstorms.
