Stringent Security Of Churches In Sargodha

Sargodha: Sargodha District Police Officer Asad Ejaz Malhi has instructed foolproof security arrangements for all churches and religious sites of the Christian community across the district on Sunday.

District Police Spokesman informed that a sufficient number of police officers and personnel are deployed around churches to ensure safety.

Additionally, personnel from the Elite Force, Traffic Police and other law enforcement agencies were stationed at key locations to maintain security.

Security for churches has been heightened in response to increased concerns over the safety of religious minorities in Pakistan. Incidents of violence and threats targeting Christian places of worship in the past have prompted authorities to strengthen security, especially during religious services or events, ensuring the safety of the community and preventing potential attacks.
