London: Taylor Swift kicked off the first of five sold-out London shows on Thursday, marking her return to the stage after concerts in Vienna were canceled last week due to a foiled suicide attack plot.

The American pop star’s return to Wembley Stadium—where she previously performed for three nights in June—concludes the European leg of her record-breaking “Eras” tour.

The concert comes shortly after tragic events in Vienna and just over two weeks after a mass stabbing at a dance class themed around Swift’s music in northwest England, which claimed the lives of three young girls.

Taking the stage at Wembley, the 34-year-old singer performed her hit song “22” while wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the words “a lot going on at the moment,” a fashion statement interpreted as a nod to both recent incidents.

In Austria, three alleged Islamic State sympathizers have been detained for plotting an attack using explosives and knives at Swift’s Vienna concerts.

London police have stated that there is “nothing to indicate” any connection between the Vienna plot and Swift’s UK performances, where 90,000 fans attended. Authorities are working closely with venue security teams and other partners to ensure robust security and policing measures are in place.
