Ingredients:
1/2 cup oil
1 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp chopped green chilies
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 ½ tbsp ginger garlic paste
1200 g boneless beef (cubed)
1 cup tomato puree
1 tbsp red chili flakes
1 tbsp cumin powder
1 tbsp red chili powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup hot water
1 cup yogurt
1/2 cup cream
Chopped green coriander (for garnish)
Julienne ginger (for garnish)
Directions:
- Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook until translucent.
- Add green chilies, black pepper powder, and ginger garlic paste. Sauté for about a minute.
- Add the cubed beef and cook until it changes color.
- Stir in tomato puree, red chili flakes, cumin powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for 5-10 minutes.
- Add hot water, mix well, cover, and simmer until the beef is fully cooked and tender.
- Stir in the yogurt and cook until the oil separates from the gravy.
- Add cream and mix thoroughly.
- Garnish with chopped green coriander and julienne ginger.
