Two Sanitary Workers Among Four Killed

Islamabad: At least four people were killed and nine others injured in seperate incidents across Pakistan in the past 24 hours. 

In Ahmedpur Sharqia, two sanitary workers died due to exposure to deadly gas while cleaning a sewage line. The incident occurred in Chongi Pirwah. 

Despite being rushed to the hospital, both workers could not survive. Rescue teams arrived promptly at the scene.

In Karachi, a shooting incident at a guest house in Gulistan Johar resulted in the deaths of Abdul Salam and Nasir, with two others injured.

The shooting followed a verbal altercation between Nasir, who had rented the guest house for a week, and the accused. Police are investigating the motive behind the attack.

In Hangu, a blast on Main GT Road in front of the Vocational College critically injured two individuals. They were taken to a nearby hospital, where their condition remains critical. Police have cordoned off the area and are conducting a search operation to ensure public safety while investigating the blast’s cause.

Similarly, an xplosion caused by an AC compressor in a house in Gillani Town  injured five people and led to the collapse of the house walls. Rescue teams responded quickly to the incident.
