NUST Named Pakistan’s New Tech Hub

Islamabad: The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) has been officially designated as a Special Technology Zone by the government.

The official notification, issued under Section 4(2)(b) of the Special Technology Zones Authority Act, 2021, confirms NUST’s new status: “In exercise of power conferred under Section 4(2)(b) of the Special Technology Zones Authority Act, 2021, the authority hereby notifies the following location (NUST) as a Special Technology Zone.”

Since its founding in March 1991, NUST has distinguished itself as a premier science and technology university in Pakistan.

Known for its focus on multidisciplinary higher education, research, and innovation, NUST has built a solid reputation as a next-generation university.
