Green Shirts Lost Norway Cup 2024 Semifinals

Islamabad: The Pakistan Street Child Football Team lost the semifinal to Norway’s Forde IL in a penalty shootout in the Norway Cup 2024 U17 category.

Playing under the name of Muslim Hands FC, the green shirts team conceded an early goal in the game but they came back and scored later in the second half as the match ended 1-1 after the end of 60 minutes of normal time

The match then went to a penalty shootout where Pakistan failed to convert one of their chances from the spot. Forde IL converted the winning penalty and made their way to the final.

Earlier today, the Pakistan Street Child football team secured a spot in the semifinals of the Norway Cup by defeating Germany 3-2 in a thrilling quarter-final match.

The Pakistani team scored one goal in the first half and two in the second. Muhammad Kashif netted two goals, while Muhammad Junaid scored one. The winning goal was scored in the last minute of the match, sending the Pakistani community in Norway into jubilation. This victory marks a significant milestone for the team, who were the undefeated champions of the event in 2023.

The National Street Child Football Team will face their next challenge in the semifinals on Friday night.
