Islamabad: Khazana Enterprise Chairman Attiazaz Bob Din announced that Khazana is developing a cutting-edge cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) service in partnership with Huawei. This initiative is set to revolutionise Pakistan’s cloud industry.
Bob Din said, “We aim to transform the cloud space in Pakistan with our advanced, purpose-built infrastructure dedicated to cloud and AI computing.”
In the rapidly evolving technology landscape, cloud computing and AI are two of the most transformative forces.
Huawei Technologies, known for its advanced innovations and strategic investments, is leading this transformation globally. Through its collaboration with local partners, Huawei is accelerating cloud adoption and helping organisations harness the power of AI by setting up local cloud nodes.
Khazana’s success is attributed to its collaborative and innovative team environment. He stressed the importance of an open culture where team members feel valued and encouraged to share ideas.
“We focus on clear communication, regular brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional collaboration to harness diverse perspectives,” Chairman noted.
Looking ahead, Din envisions AI-driven applications and scalable cloud infrastructure transforming business operations and decision-making processes.
Din explained that cloud technology will evolve to offer more robust and secure platforms for hosting AI applications, enabling seamless scalability and real-time data processing and analysis.
Chairman Din further pointed out that while Pakistan’s cloud space is competitive, with telecommunications companies focusing on co-location services, Khazana aims to offer a comprehensive service-based cloud data centre with a range of solutions.
He acknowledged the challenges in AI, such as the need for high-performance GPU processors and computing speed. Restrictions on public sales of chips like Nvidia in countries such as Pakistan and China present additional hurdles.
However, with Huawei developing its own large language models (LLMs) and GPU cards, Khazana plans to leverage this partnership to deliver advanced AI solutions.
Attiazaz highlighted AI’s potential to transform industries from healthcare to agriculture, with endless possibilities just beginning to be explored.
Addressing data privacy and security concerns, Din assured that Khazana and Huawei have implemented multiple layers of security for their customers.
“Trust is fundamental to technological advancement. We must ensure our systems are secure and that users have confidence in the technology,” he said. Chairman Attiazazad vocated for stringent regulations and robust security frameworks to protect sensitive information and ensure Pakistani data remains within national borders.
He believes that with continued innovation and strategic investments in education and infrastructure, Pakistan can emerge as a global leader in cloud and AI technologies.
