Six Injured in Cholistan Institute Wall Collapse Incident

Bahawalpur: Six persons were injured in a wall collapse incident that took place at the Cholistan Institute of Desert Studies area, TV channels quoting the rescue team reported on Thursday. 

According to details, a portion of a building of the Cholistan Institute of Desert Studies fell after a gas leakage blast that was held on the premises of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur.  As a result, six staffers of the institute were injured in the incident. 

Ambulance and fire brigade vehicles after receiving the reports rushed to the site to evacuate the injured persons from the debris. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. 

Rescue operation is continuing till the filling of this report.
