19 Children Injured in Swing Collapse at Sargodha Park

Sargodha: At least 19 children were injured in a swing-breaking incident at Model Bazar Jauharabad’s recreational park on Sunday.

According to Rescue 1122 Emergency Officer Khushab Hafiz Abdul Rasheed, the accident occurred while the children were enjoying the swings, which suddenly broke, causing them to fall to the ground.

Rescue 1122 teams promptly arrived at the scene, administering first aid to five children, while the others were transported to a hospital for further treatment.

Deputy Commissioner Khushab Zeeshan Shabbir Rana, MPA Malik Asif Bhaa Awan, and DSP Headquarters Madam Nighat Firdous visited the hospital to check on the injured children.

The Deputy Commissioner announced that a team had been formed to conduct an inquiry into the incident.
