Form B Requirement Abolished for Admission to ICT Schools

News Desk

Islamabad: The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has removed the requirement for Form B for admission to federal government schools.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the ministry acknowledged, “The previous mandate of providing Form B for school admissions has unintentionally restricted access to education for underprivileged #children

.”

“This policy has disproportionately impacted vulnerable groups, including undocumented children,” the statement continued.

“Consequently, we have decided to eliminate the Form B requirement for admission. Effective immediately, all children residing in Islamabad, regardless of their documentation status, are eligible to enroll in government schools,” the ministry announced.

The Ministry emphasized, “Our objective is to ensure that every child has access to quality education, irrespective of their background or circumstances. We believe every child deserves the chance to shape their future, and we are dedicated to offering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.”

“This policy change is a step toward fostering a more equitable and just society, where every child has the opportunity to thrive and realize their full potential,” the ministry concluded.
