Security Forces Neutralize Six Terrorists in North Waziristan Operation

Islamabad: Security forces engaged in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in North Waziristan district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) successfully neutralized six terrorists following a fierce gun battle, according to a statement by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday.
The operation, conducted on the night of May 3 and 4, targeted a reported terrorist presence in the area, stated the ISPR. In the exchange of fire between the troops and terrorists, six militants were eliminated, and their hideout was dismantled.
The slain terrorists were identified as individuals actively involved in various terrorist activities, including attacks on security forces and targeted killings of civilians in the region.
Security forces are currently carrying out a sanitization operation in the area, reiterating their commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
Earlier, in a joint operation in Tank district of KP, security forces eliminated terrorists responsible for the recent abduction of a district and sessions judge from South Waziristan.
The ISPR statement identified the slain terrorists as Azmat alias Azmati, Karamat alias Hanzla, and Rehan, who were key figures in the terrorist network.
