Cricketer Bismah Maroof, Ghulam Fatima Injured in Car Accident

Karachi: Cricketer Bismah Maroof and Ghulam Fatima, who are currently participating in the national women’s cricket team training camp in Karachi, injured in a car accident.

The incident occurred on Friday night while the players were out to have tea with a fellow cricketer based in Karachi.

Their car hit the footpath while taking a turn. Fortunately, the other players traveling with them remained unharmed.

Both Bismah Maroof and Ghulam Fatima sustained minor injuries in the accident.

However, they were promptly provided with first aid following the incident. Subsequently, as a precautionary measure, they underwent tests at a local hospital.

The Pakistan Cricket Board’s medical panel is currently overseeing their care and recovery.

Sources say that the injuries sustained by Bismah Maroof and Ghulam Fatima are minor, and there is no cause for serious concern regarding their health.
