Bisham Blast: PM Conveys Condolences at Chinese Embassy

Islamabad: A tragic incident occurred in Shangla district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, where a passenger van was targeted in a suicide blast, resulting in the loss of six lives, including five Chinese nationals.
DIG Malakand Muhammad Ali Gandapur confirmed that the blast took place in Bisham, claiming the lives of five Chinese nationals and their driver.The van was en route from Islamabad to Kohistan when it fell victim to this act of terrorism. Security forces swiftly cordoned off the area, and the deceased have been shifted to the hospital.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Chairman of the People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have vehemently condemned the attack on Chinese nationals in Bisham.In his condemnation message, President Asif Zardari expressed profound grief and extended his condolences to the families of the deceased Chinese citizens as well as the Chinese government.
President Zardari emphasized that those seeking to harm Pakistan-China friendship will not succeed, underlining the resilience of the bond between the two nations.Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited the Chinese Embassy shortly to convey his condolences regarding the tragic loss of Chinese residents in Bisham.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister shared his visit to the Chinese Embassy and expressed heartfelt sympathies for the victims of the attack.
In a statement, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed deep regret over the loss of Chinese citizens in the suicide attack. He emphasized the need to expose and severely punish the perpetrators and facilitators of terrorism in Bisham, asserting that they cannot evade justice.Bilawal extended condolences to the Chinese government and offered sympathy to the bereaved families affected by the Bisham incident. He also prayed for the swift recovery of those injured in the terrorist attack.
The tragic event in Bisham resulted in the death of five Chinese citizens and their driver in the suicide blast.
