One Injured in Gas Leakage Explosion

Rawalpindi: A man sustained injuries in an explosion caused by a gas leak in Tench Bhatta area of Rawalpindi.

Rescue 1122’s spokesperson reported that rescue teams promptly responded to the scene of the incident.

The explosion, triggered by a gas leak, resulted in burn injuries to a 55-year-old man named Riaz. After receiving initial first aid, he was shifted to the hospital for further treatment.

According to the victim’s family, Riaz suffered burns covering 25 percent of his body.

The spokesperson emphasized the importance of citizens remaining vigilant regarding such recurring issues and urged caution when dealing with domestic fuel systems.
