Chicken ‘Pakoras’ for Your Iftar Table!

Islamabad: You’ve enjoyed traditional pakoras, but why not elevate your Iftar table with flavorful chicken pakoras?
Impress your family with this delightful recipe:
Ingredients:
- 250g Chicken, minced
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tbsp Gram Flour (besan)
- 1 tsp Ground Red Chilli
- 2 Green Chillies, chopped
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- ½ tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- Green Coriander, chopped (as required)
- ½ tbsp Chaat Masala
- ½ cup Finely Chopped Green Onion
Recipe:
In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken mince with gram flour, baking powder, ground red chilli, turmeric, salt, eggs, chopped green chillies, chaat masala, finely chopped green onions, and chopped green coriander.
Mix well.
- Allow the mixture to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan for frying.
- Once the oil is hot, shape the chicken mixture into fritters and carefully place them into the oil.
- Fry the fritters until they turn crispy and golden brown.
- Once fried, remove the pakoras from the oil and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- Serve hot with delicious Aloo Bukhara Chutney.
