Islamabad: In a recent investigative documentary aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s Fifth Estate, serious allegations have surfaced against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The documentary delves into the murders of Hardeep Singh Nagar and Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, both of whom were prominent figures in the Sikh community.
Hardeep Singh Nagar was tragically killed by unidentified attackers at the entrance of a Gurdwara in British Columbia on June 18, 2023.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau openly implicated India in Nagar’s murder, citing substantial evidence suggesting Modi’s involvement.
Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has come forward with claims that Modi, allegedly acting on the advice of Ajit Doval, instructed the head of India’s intelligence agency, RAW, to orchestrate his assassination as well.
Pannu asserts that there is strong evidence pointing to Modi’s role in Nagar’s murder.
Additionally, an Indian citizen named Nikhil Gupta has been accused of plotting Pannu’s murder in the United States.
The indictment alleges that Gupta sought assistance from an individual who later turned out to be an informant for the planned assassination.
Furthermore, the indictment suggests a broader conspiracy involving plans to eliminate three individuals in Canada in June, coinciding with efforts to hold referendums worldwide advocating for the establishment of Khalistan.
Pannu has stated that their goal is to secure the right to vote for the people of Punjab, implying that India targeted them to suppress their movement.
The documentary also features interviews with other members of the Sikh community residing in Canada, shedding light on their perspectives and experiences.
