Trump Dominates Super Tuesday: Claims Victory in 11 States

Washington: Donald Trump secured victory in the initial 11 primary elections, including Texas, as results poured in from the 15 states participating in “Super Tuesday” for the Republican presidential nomination.
The former president, seeking a remarkable return to the White House after his defeat by Democrat Joe Biden in 2020, had the potential to sweep all states on Tuesday en route to securing the Republican Party’s nomination.
States such as Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia were all called in favor of Trump by US networks, prompting gratitude expressed by Trump on his Truth Social platform as vote counts continued in other Super Tuesday states nationwide.
His underdog opponent, former UN ambassador Nikki Haley, has not posed a significant challenge to Trump’s nomination bid, though she has yet to withdraw from the race. Meanwhile, in the Democratic nomination race, Biden emerged victorious in all 13 states called by US networks, despite projections indicating a potential loss to lesser-known challenger Jason Palmer in American Samoa, a small Pacific Ocean territory. According to polling averages from RealClearPolitics, Trump holds a two-point lead over Biden in a hypothetical one-on-one matchup for the November election.
