ASI Dismissed for Mistreating Elderly Woman

Rawalpindi: An Assistant Sub Inspector was dismissed from his service for his mistreating an elderly woman in Taxila on Saturday.

The Chief Police Officer (CPO) of Rawalpindi took action after viewing a viral video depicting ASI Imtiaz Nasir mistreating the mother of a suspect outside Taxila Katcheri.

Following this, SP (Potohar) was directed to conduct an inquiry, with a report requested within three hours.

Upon completion of the investigation, the CPO dismissed ASI Imtiaz Nasir from the police force.

The CPO emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards mistreatment of women, pledging to uphold accountability within the department.

It was stated that Rawalpindi Police will not condone abuse of authority or actions that compromise the department’s integrity, urging officers to maintain professionalism.
