Twitter-Like Platform Bluesky Open for Anyone to Join
News Desk
Islamabad: Jack Dorsey, the former owner of Twitter, alongside Internet technology expert Jay Graber, has launched Blue Sky, a platform similar to Twitter.
The testing phase commenced in April 2023, and it has now been officially released to all users. The announcement of Blue Sky’s introduction was made on the platform’s Twitter account.
Creating an account on Blue Sky is a straightforward process, requiring a phone number for verification through a sent code. Once verified, the account is successfully created.
The home and feed pages on Blue Sky closely resemble Twitter, allowing the use of hashtags, although searching for trends or content through hashtags is not instantaneous. Blue Sky imposes a 300-word limit for new posts, and posts can be shared akin to retweets.

LoveSky, as part of Blue Sky, encompasses nearly all features found on Twitter, including moderation, lists, following and followers, as well as tabs for specific regions like the UK.
It is worth noting that Jack Dorsey, along with collaborators, introduced Twitter in 2006 after its creation in 2005.
Twitter rapidly became the most influential social media platform globally. Dorsey later sold Twitter to Elon Musk, the world’s wealthiest individual, in 2022.
