Peshawar: The provincial election commission has inaugurated an Election Gender Desk at its office to ensure enhanced facilitation for women, senior citizens, transgender individuals, persons with disabilities, and minority communities during the electoral process.

The spokesperson for the commission stated that the desk is committed to addressing any complaints related to the election process specifically concerning marginalized segments of society. The desk will be operational from February 1 to 10.

Emphasizing the accessibility of the service, the spokesperson mentioned that the dedicated staff will be available around the clock at the desk.
