Four Killed, Six Injured in Sibi Blast

Quetta: At least four people were killed and six others sustained injuries in the blast at Jinnah Road in Sibi on Tuesday.
A political rally organized by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the Sibi district of Balochistan was allegedly hit by an explosion, leading to a minimum of four deaths and multiple injuries, as reported by authorities.
According to the local police sources, the political rally was crossing Jinnah Road when an improvised explosive device (IED) beside the GPO Chowk went off.
As a result, four people died on the spot, while six others received injuries.
The bodies and injured were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) in Sibi, where injured victims’ treatment were stated to be in stable condition.

As per information provided by Dr Wasim Baig, the Media Coordinator for the Balochistan Health Department, the deceased individuals have been identified as Hamad Khan, Abdul Wasay, Muhammad Rafiq, and Muhammad Zahid.
The individuals who sustained injuries in the incident are Suhrab Khan, Runaq Kumar, Nadir Hussain, Khair Muhammad, Abdul Habib, and Tuheed.
Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) reached the site, cordoned off the entire area, and started an investigation.
Dr Baig said that Secretary of Health Abdullah Khan directed the hospital to take all possible measures to provide the best health facilities to the injured victims.
