ICT Authorities Seal three Restaurants at F-6 Markaz

Islamabad: The district authorities have sealed three restaurants for serving substandard food at their eateries in Islamabad.
Under the directives of Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon, a comprehensive inspection of eateries at F-6 Markaz was conducted by the Assistant Commissioner (City) in collaboration with the Islamabad Food Authority (IFA) on Tuesday.
The establishments in focus, namely Meso, House of Turk, and Subway, underwent thorough scrutiny, leading to their closure following concerns related to expired items, non-standard offerings, and inadequate hygiene practices, as confirmed by ICT spokesman Dr Abdullah Tabasum.
The Assistant Commissioner, representing the city’s administration, affirmed the sealing of these three restaurants as a result of the investigation. This decisive action is part of an ongoing initiative to safeguard public health and safety, with warnings also issued to other businesses found to be in violation of established standards.
The crackdown underscores a commitment to upholding hygiene and quality standards in the city’s food establishments.
