36 Roads Repair Work on Card

Rawalpindi: Dr Jamal Nasir, the Caretaker Provincial Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare and Population Welfare, announced on Monday the upcoming commencement of repair and carpeting work on 36 roads, including the prominent Asghar Mall Road.
During a meeting with a delegation from Anjuman Tajran Asghar Mall Road, led by Tahir Taj Bhatti, General Secretary of Markazi Anjuman Tajran, Dr Jamal assured that these projects would be expedited with ‘Mohsin Speed’ for prompt completion.
Additionally, he revealed plans for the establishment of a business facilitation centre in Rawalpindi aimed at easing operations for the local business community. This centre will house representatives from 20 federal and provincial departments, expediting the provision of necessary investment-related NOCs within a two-week timeframe.
Dr Jamal highlighted the recent inauguration of the first business facilitation centre in Lahore by Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, indicating similar centres’ future establishment in Rawalpindi, Multan, Gujranwala, and other major cities.
In efforts to enhance educational facilities, he mentioned the ongoing upgrade of 25 schools in Rawalpindi, including the Government Muslim Higher Secondary School, alongside plans for the improvement of boys’ colleges in the region.
Furthermore, Dr Jamal allocated a budget of 100 million rupees for the enhancement of parks in Rawalpindi, emphasizing the importance of providing citizens with healthy recreational spaces.
