In Denial Of Public Opinion, British MPs Support Israeli Atrocities In Gaza

London: The British Members of Parliament overwhelmingly vote to back Israel in the current Israel-Palestine war in utter defiance of public opinion.
The British Members of Parliament met yesterday (Wednesday) to debate the King’s Speech which is an annual event, the government of the day uses the King’s speech to outline it’s policy direction on the country’s internal and external issues. The Labour Party and the Scottish National Party (SNP) took the opportunity to propose amendments to the King’s speech on Israel-Palestine war.
Labour Amendment called for “humanitarian pauses “in current hostilities in Gaza but not the ceasefire .
The amendment by Scottish National Party (SNP) called for an immediate ceasefire.
Overall, 290 to 183 MPs voted to reject Labour’s King’s speech amendment calling longer “humanitarian pauses “by a majority of 107. The SNP amendment calling for “all parties to agree to an immediate ceasefire” was also rejected 293 to 125 because Starmar instructed Labour MPs to abstain.
Two Muslim MPs, both conservatives, voted against the ceasefire. Four, three Labour and one conservative, abstained. Twelve Muslim MPs eleven Labour and one SNP voted for the ceasefire.
Overall, the British Parliament decided to continue to back the Israeli air and ground action In Gaza, that has already accounted for over 11, 000 Palestinian deaths and over 40,000 injuries. Three-thirds of these are women and children. These devastating figures of human misery are increasing hour by hour as Israelis continue to expand their ground and airforce attacks in defiance of the United Nations call for ceasefire.
The recent public opinion polls indicated 70 per cent of Britons favouring an immediate end to the war. Over the recent weeks, many cities towns throughout the UK witnessed hundreds of thousands of Britons of all backgrounds joining rallies and demonstrations demanding an immediate ceasefire. Last Saturday, around one million Britons marched through the streets of London demanding ceasefire in the largest pro peace demonstration ever seen in the city. Yet, the British government continues to back war and the indiscriminate slaughter of Palestinians by the Zionist Israeli government.
These are political games that are being played out in the British Parliament, the cradle of democracy, in defiance of the overwhelming British public opinion. The mother of democracy is proving to be not so motherly as it refuses to listen to its loyal children.
The majority of Muslim MPs, mainly Labour MPs, have voted for the ceasefire in open defiance of Keir Starmar, the Labour leader. This represents a major rebellion by the Muslim MPs against their party leader for his refusal to call for an outright ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict. Readers may recall that Keir Starmar himself is a self-confessed Zionist.
His refusal to call for an immediate ceasefire and thus an end to atrocities by Israel has already pushed Muslim Labour councillors in different towns and cities to resign, for example, in Oxford, Birmingham, Bradford, Gloucester, Stroud, Manchester, Cambridge, Nottingham, and London boroughs. Starmar’s intransigence could force more resignations.
Starmar’s failure to call for a ceasefire means many Muslim Labour backers who thus far have been loyal Labour supporters could abandon the party at the next ballot box.
Furthermore, the rebellion by Labour MPs would irreparably split the party, making Starmar’s leadership untenable. We wait and see how he would respond to the biggest political crisis of his leadership.
The fact is that foreign policy of Britain in relation to Israel has always been biased in favour of Israel irrespective of party politics which is dictated by America. Britain’s virtually subservience to American dictat is not a new phenomenon. We have witnessed the repetition of this exercise time and again in the last 30 years. Both countries are polically and economically controlled by powefull Zionists.
The rebellion of few Muslim Labour front benchers and MPs voted against their leader Keir Starmer was a commendable decision. It was a daring move resulting from searching of their consciences and fear of potential electoral backlash. However, the majority of members of both Labour and Conservative parties voted for the amendment of ” long pauses” meaning more deaths and destruction of innocent civilians in Gaza and West Bank.
Once again double standards and hypocrisy of our politicians have triumphed and hue and cry from the overwhelming majority of the electorate for immediate ceasefire has been ignored. This is naked negation and mockery of democracy. But we the people must continue to assert our demand for immediate cessation of violence and detestation of human beings who are indiscriminately being constantly bombed by a Zionist regime .
A historical perspective on the current Israel-Palestine war design:
Zionist Israel is a creation of Britain and America. They are committed to it existence and expansion. They see Palestine as the lost heritage of Jews and Christians, the Holy land on which they have divine claim. Historically, this was lost to Muslims which they have never accepted and forgiven. This tussle to claim it back from Muslims over the centuries is what we refer to as ‘ crusade’. the battles of cross. The placing of Israel was part of an ongoing crusade by proxy. The current genocide of Muslims is part of this ongoing crusade.
The other axis of the crusade was the disintegration of Usmania Khalafah in which the forefathers of the present Saudia played a critical role for which they were rewarded the Kingdom of Saudia also created by Britain and promised protection. Some of you may recall that when Saddam attacked Kuwait which spilled over to Saudia, the Saudis invoked the historical treaty in which the Britain had promised to defend Saudia. The reciprocal arrangements of the treaty also entailed that the newly established Kingdom of Saudia would not do anything to compromise the interests of Britain in the region. It is this that is keeping Saudia quiet and indifferent to the slaughter of Palestinians In Gaza. Saudia, in fact, using its influence to protect British and American interests in the region.
Part 3 was the creation and control of UAE with heavy Jewish , American and European investment, an anomaly in the desert with a population less than any one the largest metropolis. In reality UAE is out post for Jewish, British and European interests.
Part 4 was to disintegrate and control certain key Muslim nations in the region- Libya, Iraq and Syria etc. This part of a calculated strategy to take away the capacity of Muslim nations to mount any level of resistance to the final onslaught on the Holy land. The precursor this was the relocation of American Embassy in Jerusalem . The British will be moving theirs soon .
The final stage to complete the crusade is the present war and genocide.
