Writing Competition: Young Writer Haseeb Iqbal Triumphs In 2nd Position

Attock: A Pakistani youth Haseeb Iqbal made the country proud by winning the second position in the annual international essay writing competition’s youth category.
Haseeb is the only Pakistani position holder in this competition.
Expressing his happiness over this wonderful achievement, Iqbal said, “It is an honor for me to represent Pakistan at the international level and I hope my success inspires others to pursue their passions with dedication.”
He belongs to Dhoke Garhi Alizai, a backward village in Hazro Tehsil district, Attock. Haseeb Iqbal is doing a BS (Hons) in English at the University of Education Attock Campus.
Chhachh Muhafiz Committee Chairman Nisar Ali Khan remarked that Iqbal’s outstanding accomplishment marks a significant personal milestone and also stands as a testament to Pakistan’s rich talent and potential on the global platform.
It highlights the nation’s intellectual prowess and dedication to academic excellence, Khan added.
Organized by the Goi Peace Foundation Japan and the Ministry of Education Japan, the purpose of the competition is to hail the efforts of the youth for the establishment of peace in the world.
The competition was held in two categories for children and youth, in which a total of 20,674 students and youths from 168 countries around the world participated.
