Rain Turns Faisalabad’s Weather Pleasant, More Rain Predicted

Faisalabad: Faisalabad city received heavy rain on Sunday morning, which made the weather pleasant, while the local meteorological department predicted more rain in the Faisalabad division during the next 24 hours.

The dark clouds started hovering over the sky at night, and rain coupled with thunderstorms started early in the morning and continued for an hour.

The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded were 31°C and 23°C during the last 24 hours.

Low-lying areas were inundated, causing problems for residents as well as pedestrians.

Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director Amir Aziz alerted his entire staff for draining out rainwater from the city area by using heavy machinery.

Amir Aziz informed us that Faisalabad received 86 mm of rain in Ghulam Muhammad Abad on Sunday morning, whereas it was recorded at 40 mm in Allama Iqbal Colony, 33 mm in Gulistan Colony, and 12 mm in Madina Town.
