Islamabad: The Assistant Commissioner Secretariat has announced that it will collaborate with the  ‘Each One Teach One Foundation’ (EOTO) to provide free education to deprived children in Islamabad.

On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon, Assistant Commissioner Secretariat Aneel Saeed held a review meeting with representatives of the EOTO.

In a bid to ensure that all children have access to quality education, the two organisations will work together to identify and enrol deprived children from different areas of Islamabad in school.

The organisation will also disburse pecuniary and other support to these children to help them succeed in their studies. This initiative is a welcome step as it will help reduce illiteracy and inequality in Islamabad. APP
