Hot, Humid Weather Likely In Country’s Plain Areas

Islamabad/Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts that hot and humid weather is expected in most plain areas of the country.

However, rain, wind, or thundershowers are expected at isolated places in the Potohar region, northeast Punjab, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas during the evening and night.

According to the Met Office, mainly hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the Sindh province. PMD states that fair or partly cloudy weather with chances of isolated drizzle is expected in Karachi over the next 24 hours.

The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in Karachi were 33°C and 27°C, respectively, during the last 24 hours.
