8 Killed, 32 Injured as Pilgrims’ Bus Overturns in Lasbela

Islamabad: At least eight people lost their lives and 32 others were injured when a bus carrying Zaireen (pilgrims) returning from Iran to Punjab overturned and fell into a ditch on the Lasbela Makran highway on Saturday morning.
The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation, according to police sources. Authorities have confirmed the casualties, and medical assistance is being provided to the injured. Rescue teams and emergency services quickly arrived at the scene, transporting the deceased and injured to the district headquarters hospital.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari expressed his grief and sorrow over the tragic bus accident on the Makran Coastal Highway.
He extended his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls, while also wishing a swift recovery for the injured passengers. The President directed prompt assistance and care for those affected by the accident.
