77th Death Anniversary of the Father of the Nation

Islamabad: The 77th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Father of the Nation, is being observed across Pakistan today (Thursday) with profound respect and gratitude.

The day commenced with special prayers in mosques for the eternal peace of his soul, as well as for the stability, peace, and prosperity of the country.

Through his unwavering vision and determination, Muhammad Ali Jinnah united the Muslims of the subcontinent under the All-India Muslim League and led them to the creation of Pakistan. His timeless principles of unity, faith, and discipline continue to serve as guiding beacons for the nation.

Quaid-e-Azam passed away on September 11, 1948, barely a year after Pakistan’s independence.

On this occasion, Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television are broadcasting special programs to honor his legacy, highlighting his pivotal role in securing an independent homeland for Muslims and the values upon which Pakistan was founded.
