70 Pakistanis Repatriated from Iran via Taftan Border

Quetta: Over 70 Pakistani nationals have returned from Iran as part of an ongoing repatriation drive, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti confirmed on Monday.
The repatriation process was initiated in response to the evolving situation in Iran. Chief Minister Bugti said that immigration authorities at border crossing points are operating round-the-clock to ensure smooth and efficient processing of returning citizens.

“Immigration officials are performing their duties 24 hours a day at border locations to ensure that the movement process remains effective and well-organized,” he stated.
The provincial government has instructed border district administrations to provide full support to returnees, including logistical assistance, basic amenities, and administrative facilitation to aid their reintegration.
Officials added that preparations are ongoing to accommodate additional returnees in the coming days, with provincial and border authorities maintaining heightened readiness.
