Hong Kong: An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.9 jolted the Mariana Islands on Friday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicentre, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 20.31 degrees north latitude and 146.25 degrees east longitude.
