57 New Cases Of Dengue Recorded In Pindi

Rawalpindi: As many as 57 new dengue cases were recorded in Rawalpindi over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of patients currently under treatment in allied hospitals to 100.
According to the latest report released by the District Health Authority, the total number of positive cases this year has reached 501, with Potohar Town remaining the top contributing and most affected area.
In the last 24 hours alone, 27 patients were reported from Potohar Town. Additionally, the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board areas recorded nine dengue patients in one day.
The district administration, in collaboration with allied departments, has ordered strict action against any violations of dengue Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Surveillance and response efforts have also been further intensified to prevent any potential large-scale outbreak.
