56 Candidates to Contest Elections from Haripur

Haripur: The District Election Commissioner of Haripur revealed that a total of 56 candidates, which includes 10 women and 2 transgenders, will be vying for positions in the upcoming national and provincial constituency elections in District Haripur.
Specifically, in the National Assembly seat NA-18, 16 candidates are in contention, featuring one woman and one transgender candidate.
For the provincial assembly constituency of PK-46 Haripur-I, there are 14 candidates in the race, with 1 transgender and 3 women among them.
In PK-47 Haripur-II, 10 candidates, including 3 women, are gearing up for the competition. Similarly, in PK-48 Haripur-III, a total of 16 candidates, including 3 women, are contributing to the diverse electoral landscape with their perspectives.
To distinguish the candidates, the District Election Commissioner has assigned unique electoral symbols, such as a lion for PML-N candidates, an arrow for PPP candidates, and a book for JUI-F candidates, among others.
