5.0 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Swat

Islamabad: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 struck Swat, Lower Dir, and surrounding areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday. 

Media reports indicate that following the tremor, individuals rushed out of their homes and shops in fear and panic, reciting the ‘Kalma Tayyaba’.

According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake had a depth of 104 km, with its epicenter located in the Hindu Kush mountain range.
