41 Pak Researchers Recognized Among Top 2% Scientists Worldwide

Bahawalpur: As many as 41 researchers from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur have been included in the prestigious list of the top 2 percent of scientists globally, as published by Stanford University and the global information analysis company Elsevier. 

This annual list highlights scientists who have made significant contributions to their fields, with their research often cited in academic journals.

The inclusion of these 41 scientists underscores the university’s prominence on both national and international stages.

According to Dr Muhammad Atif, Director of the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC), these internationally recognized researchers come from diverse disciplines, including biology, physics, chemistry, environmental science, agriculture, engineering, information technology, artificial intelligence, pharmaceuticals, medicine, and social sciences.
