3G/4G Users Reached 123m In Pakistan

Islamabad: The number of 3G and 4G users in Pakistan has substantially increased by 1.27 million, from 121.54 million by the end of December 2022 to 122.81 million by the end of January 2023.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) data revealed that the number of active mobile SIMs reached 193 million and the number of broadband mobile subscribers reached 123 million during the same period.
Meanwhile, the number of broadband subscribers was recorded at 126 million, with 56.31 percent penetration. The cellular teledensity decreased to 86.16 percent by end-January.
