Lahore:  The Punjab Forest Department, in collaboration with the police and district administration, conducted a major operation on Friday to reclaim 35 acres of government land from illegal occupants.

The operation, led by the Muzaffargarh Forest Division, was part of the provincial government’s ongoing efforts against encroachments.

Senior Minister Punjab, Marriyum Aurangzeb, praised the successful operation, highlighting it as a testament to the government’s commitment to upholding the rule of law. She stressed that protecting public resources remains a top priority and assured that strict actions against land grabbers will continue.

Commenting on the achievement, Marriyum Aurangzeb stated, “Preserving forests is vital for maintaining environmental balance and ensuring that citizens benefit from the eradication of encroachments on state land.” She reiterated the government’s firm stance, declaring, “No powerful individual will be allowed to seize public resources.”

The operation is being hailed as a significant step toward safeguarding natural resources and enforcing accountability.
