3.6-Magnitude Earthquake Tremors Jolt Quetta

Islamabad: Pakistan’s National Seismic Monitoring Centre reported a 3.6-magnitude earthquake in Harnai and adjoining areas of Quetta city on Friday.

The epicenter of the quake was reported to be 45 kilometers away in Harnai Southeast, at a depth of 15 kilometers, according to the seismic monitoring center. Private news channels also provided coverage of the event.

Initial reports indicated that there was no damage or loss of life resulting from the tremors. However, people were observed coming out of their homes and offices in response to the earthquake. The situation is being closely monitored for any further developments or aftershocks.
