28 Pilgrims’ Bodies to Arrive in Sukkur Today After Iran Accident

Tehran: The bodies of 28 Pakistani pilgrims who died in a traffic accident in Iran will be transported to Sukkur today by a C-130 aircraft.

Additionally, 15 injured individuals will also be arriving in Sukkur on a special plane. The majority of those who lost their lives in the accident were from Larkana, Khairpur, and Kandhkot.

According to Commissioner Sukkur Fayyaz Abbasi, the 28 deceased and 15 injured pilgrims will land at Sukkur Airport today. From there, arrangements will be made to send the deceased and injured to their respective hometowns.

It is important to note that the accident occurred two days ago when a bus carrying pilgrims from Larkana to Iran crashed, resulting in 35 fatalities and more than 15 injuries.
