262 kg of Drugs Seized, Six Suspects Arrested in ANF Crackdown

Rawalpindi: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized over 262 kg of drugs and arrested six individuals during five operations across the country, according to an ANF Headquarters spokesperson on Monday.

At Islamabad Airport, 1.2 kg of heroin was confiscated from a female passenger heading to Bahrain. Another 1 kg of heroin was recovered from a passenger bound for Dubai at Karachi Airport. 

Near Ravi Toll Plaza in Lahore, 63.6 kg of hashish and 72 kg of opium were seized from two suspects. Near Kala Shah Kaku Toll Plaza in Sheikhupura, 38.4 kg of opium and 33.6 kg of hashish were recovered from a suspect.

Additionally, 52.8 kg of hashish was seized from an individual near Shahrah Faisal in Karachi.

Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and further investigations are underway.
