239 Arrested for Fake Pukar-15 Calls

Faisalabad: District police have taken legal action against 239 individuals who made bogus calls to Pukar-15, the emergency service hotline, over the past four months. Cases have been registered under the 29-D Telegraph Act, and the police have begun legal proceedings against those responsible.

CPO Sahibzada Bilal Omer has urged the public to refrain from making false calls to emergency services, stressing that such actions could prevent someone in need from accessing critical emergency assistance.
