20th Cholistan Desert Rally Trophy Unveiled

Bahawalpur: The unveiling ceremony of the trophy for the 20th International Cholistan Desert Rally was held at DHA Bahawalpur on Wednesday. The event featured a vibrant cultural show and national songs.

Punjab Central Business Development Authority Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Brigadier (retd) Mansoor Ahmed Janjua, Provincial Secretary for Tourism, Archaeology, and Museums Fareed Tarar, Managing Director of the Tourism Development Corporation Punjab Dr Nasir Mahmood Bashir, Sahibzada Mian Muhammad Usman Abbasi, Project Director DHA Brigadier Muhammad Naveed Iqbal, RPO Rai Babar Saeed, Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Dr. Farhan Farooq, along with civil and military officials and local dignitaries, attended the ceremony.

Speakers highlighted that the Cholistan Desert Rally has gained recognition at both national and international levels, serving as a platform to promote Pakistan’s rich culture and heritage globally. They emphasized the rally’s role in fostering social and economic development in the region.

During the ceremony, shields were distributed among the organizers in recognition of their efforts. The event concluded with a spectacular fireworks display.
