The Pakistan Army has killed 37 terrorists in two separate operations carried out in Mohmand District and Abakhel, North Waziristan, security sources confirmed.

In Mohmand, the army responded promptly to an infiltration attempt from the Turkmanzai border area, killing 30 members of the Khawarij group, who were part of an organized formation sent to launch terrorist activities in the region.

Security sources stated that the Afghan Taliban attempted to send a large formation into Mohmand with the support of the Khawarij, but the Pakistan Army’s timely and decisive action thwarted the move, forcing the Afghan Taliban to rely on the Khawarij for such operations.

In a separate operation on October 14 in Abakhel, North Waziristan, seven more Khawarij terrorists were killed while preparing to carry out a planned attack in the area.
