Islamabad: Celebrating the 147th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, national leaders have united in a fervent call for unity, echoing the visionary principles laid out by Pakistan’s founding father.

The President, Prime Minister, and other prominent figures rallied together, emphasizing the enduring importance of unity in realizing Jinnah’s vision for a prosperous and harmonious Pakistan.

This commemoration marked a reaffirmation of the nation’s commitment to uphold the values of unity, faith, and discipline—integral elements central to Quaid-e-Azam’s enduring legacy.

President Dr Arif Alvi emphasized the pivotal role of Quaid-e-Azam in the establishment of Pakistan, highlighting his tireless efforts in creating a separate homeland for the subcontinent’s Muslims. As the leader of the All-India Muslim League, Muhammad Ali Jinnah passionately advocated for their rights and envisaged a nation where religious freedom and fair representation were fundamental.

Reflecting on Jinnah’s vision, President Alvi urged the nation to embrace these ideals, aiming to further enrich Pakistan as a prosperous and resilient nation. He lauded the people’s resilience in facing numerous challenges, acknowledging Pakistan’s remarkable achievements across diverse fields despite adversity.

Emphasizing the significance of Pakistan’s journey since its inception, the president acknowledged the chapters marked by trials and triumphs, all contributing to the realization of their founding father’s vision. He highlighted Jinnah’s leadership, which laid the groundwork for an inclusive, democratic Pakistan fostering harmony among varied religious and cultural backgrounds.

Quoting Stanley Wolpert, President Alvi underlined Jinnah’s unparalleled impact on history, crediting him for altering its course, redefining world maps, and creating a nation-state—a testament to his exceptional legacy.

Furthermore, the president pledged to champion Islamic ideals, moral values, unity, and fraternity. He stressed the need to adhere to Jinnah’s principles to fortify unity, uphold democratic values, and surmount contemporary challenges faced by the nation.

Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar conveyed, “Today marks the 147th birthday celebration of our revered leader, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah,” as stated in a release from the Prime Minister’s Office.

“He remains a beacon of guidance for our nation due to his vision and steadfast dedication. Let’s pay tribute to his heritage by cherishing unity, faith, and discipline,” expressed the prime minister.

Solangi for Implementation of Quaid-e-Azam’s Principles

Caretaker Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, and Parliamentary Affairs, Murtaza Solangi, urged the implementation of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s principles to propel Pakistan towards development and prosperity. On the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Solangi highlighted that the entire nation paid tribute to the esteemed leader, often regarded as “Mohsin-e-Pakistan,” for his relentless struggle for the freedom of the Subcontinent’s Muslims and the establishment of an independent state.

Emphasizing Jinnah’s vision, Solangi underscored how he facilitated the creation of Pakistan, a nation where all individuals have equal opportunities irrespective of differences in color, caste, religion, or language. Solangi praised Jinnah’s instrumental role in transforming the dream of Pakistan into reality through his exceptional skills, determination, and remarkable character.
