141 New Cases Reported in KP

Peshawar: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has witnessed a significant surge in dengue cases, with 141 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, according to the provincial Health Department on Friday.
This brings the total number of reported cases in the province to 1,222, with 511 active cases currently.
So far, 709 patients have recovered from dengue, while 34 remain under treatment in various hospitals across the province.
The district-wise breakdown of cases shows that Peshawar leads with 373 cases, followed by Abbottabad with 139, Hangu with 115, and Mansehra with 104 cases. Nowshera reported 100 cases, Charsadda 59, Kohat 49, and Haripur 36 cases.
Bannu, Mardan, Bajaur, and Swabi each recorded 25 to 36 cases of dengue fever.
The Health Department also reported two deaths attributed to dengue fever in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa so far. Authorities are urging residents, particularly in Peshawar, to take precautionary measures as the number of dengue cases continues to rise.
