1,400 Cops Deployed to Protect Polio Teams

Rawalpindi: As many as 1,400 police officers have been deployed on the security of 677 polio teams in Rawalpindi district. 

A police spokesperson said on Monday that this deployment aims to ensure the safety and protection of the teams throughout the seven-day anti-polio campaign in the district. 

Senior officers have been tasked with accompanying these teams, and patrols have been arranged across different areas to uphold their security.
