13 Shopkeepers Held for Overcharging

Islamabad: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration arrested 13 shopkeepers on Monday for violating the official price lists in the vegetable market, following customer complaints.

Assistant Commissioner Aniq Anwar of the Potohar division led the raids, detaining 13 vendors and cautioning others to adhere to the regulated prices or face strict action.

Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon directed continued monitoring in vegetable markets, urging citizens to pay only the notified prices.
